Music Video

This music video features an edited movement performance by Rory Giezekamp where the character is dressed in two wearable sculptures created by Rory Giezekamp. The costume design is inspired by Reibun Ike's Yaoi Manga Dick Fight Island and the character of the owner is inspired by the lore of internet-meme SCP Foundation and the aesthetics of Ancient Egyptian mummification practices.

MEAT CHAIR
Functional Sculpture
VIEW "MEAT CHAIR" HERE
This is a sculpture that is a functional chair that looks like a terrifying piece of meat. It is made from Expanding Foam, Spray Paint, Cardboard and Wood. A local poet wrote the following review:

General public Meat Chair unveiling; Crowds collapse with extreme pain in their kidneys... Reports of crowd members' eyes popping out and meat-goo leaking from their faces! One young man from the northern Naarm area who sat down on the chair has been sent into orbit, his bowels used as propulsion... Reports from callers of MEATeors raining down from a sky which has seemed to have "opened up into a dark, fiery void".

DEBUTANTE
Wearable Sculpture

This wearable sculpture was commissioned for Paralusion's fashion event Expensive Ugly and was made from pouring wood varnish over my mother's dress she wore at her debutante ball as a teenager. Photos of the sculpture and my performance at the event have been featured on Vice News, and their instagram accounts Vice AU, Vice Romania & Vice Global.

MEMORY CORSET
Wearable Sculpture
VIEW "MEMORY CORSET" HERE
This wearable sculpture is made from PVA Glue, Ink, Chiffon and Found Objects such as broken SNS nails, Jewellery, Synthetic Hair, Clothing Tags and Price Tags. As the glue dries, the metal jewellery rusts and the rust spreads through the wet glue and it looks awesome! Don't worry, it is safe to wear.

JANUS ii
Multimedia Project
VIEW "JANUS ii" HERE
This collaborative multimedia project is a Wearable Art Collection, Photography Project & Online Exhibition inspired by the internet aesthetics Weird-Core and Trauma-Core. We shot at different abandoned locations in New South Wales, Australia, to create fine art out of and pay homage to these alternative photo-editing aesthetics that are considered memes online.

Wearable Art and Jewellery from this project can be purchased at the online store TERMINAL SIX.

The Gift of Janus: Severed.
Wearable Sculpture
VIEW "The Gift of Janus: Severed" HERE
This HSC Major Work is a layered wearable sculpture that exposes my rejection of the consumerist gender binary. With my decapitated two-faced Greek God Janus being covered in found objects, "trash", and childhood images stuck in between slick layers of varnish and glue, this work illuminates, like a hoarder's abode, how traumatically ugly my upbringing in early-2000s-hypercapitalism looks in hindsight.

Voyage Du CouCou
String Composition
VIEW "Voyage Du CouCou" HERE
This piece of aleatoric music is a musical card game that transports the players into Medieval France with a futuristic twist. As you play with other musicians, the Medieval French card game CouCou emulates a buzzing casino-like atmosphere. Included in the PDF above is a score simulating a 3min game of this composition with 12 Players.

Chrysalis
Choral Composition
VIEW "Chrysalis" HERE
This choral composition was written for the Bach House Choir of Conservatorium High School and performed at their annual House Concert in the Sydney Conservatorium of Music's Verbrugghen Hall. The choristers were asked to write about their experiences of the COVID-19 lockdowns and quotes from those personal recounts became the lyrics for Chrysalis.
